APISORELIA is authorized to perform complex and
various activities and services in the field of industrial
waste management, both hazardous and non-
hazardous: collecting, transporting, temporary
storage, recovery, recycling, treatment, neutralizing
and final disposal, as well as decontamination and

Industrial waste management is a complex activity, which requires a high degree of
professional training, a good knowledge and understanding of legislation, and a careful
monitoring of the market.
The analysis of customer requests, the preparation of working method, the coordination
of all activities are made by well trained and specialized personnel of more than 80
employees (e.g. chemical engineers, biochemists, biologists, civil engineers,
automotive engineers, foremen, heavy duty drivers, etc.) as well as a significant number
of collaborators.

APISORELIA ensures the continuity of its activity and services during all the contract period, according to the schedule mutually agreed with the customer, avoiding all gaps and permanently adapting to customer's requirements.
If our customers are asking, we can primarily process some non-hazardous recyclable waste by compacting, using balers and mobile compactors for various types of waste (e.g. paper and cardboard, plastics, textiles, etc.). These compacting machineries can be operated either by customer's personnel or by our personnel.
After the finalization of recovery/recycling and final disposal activities, the customer receives all the necessary documents proving the traceability of the waste and that all these activities have been performed according to the law.

APISORELIA owns an auto fleet comprised of more than 50 vehicles of various capacities, authorized for transporting of hazardous, non-hazardous and recyclable waste. Our auto fleet diversity allows the col lect ing and transport ing of waste irrespective of the quantities or distances that have to be covered down to final disposal locations.

APISORELIA is authorized to provide various decontamination and remediation
services. We have many years experience in this field.
Such services are:
Ÿ Cleaning and decontamination of tanks and basins containing chemical
products (petroleum products, acids, bases etc.) and collection of resulted
chemical waste for transportation to the final disposal site.
Ÿ Cleaning and decontamination of auto and railroad tanks containing
various chemical products and collection of resulted chemical waste for
transportation to the final disposal site.
Ÿ Solution and technical methods for the remediation of soil
contaminated with petroleum products by use of chemical treatment.
Presently, many technologies of soil remediation rely on thermal
desorption. These technologies have a low efficiency and high power
consumption. For this reason we believe that our technology can be applied
with much better results.

Wastewater Treatment
We have been working on solutions and technical methods
for the treatment of wastewater coming from the domestic
sector (sewage).
The treatment plant uses basins made of enamelled steel and ultrafilter membranes. This
technology has some significant advantages:
Ÿ the effluent stream has a high quality and it can be used for irrigation;
Ÿ the layout is modular and very flexible;
Ÿ the life cycle is very high (> 40 years);
Ÿ the dismantling is very easy and the resulted materials are recyclable.

Ÿ Solution for water treatment and oil recovery from
desalinization plants in refineries.

Ÿ Solution for the neutralization and elimination of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from
sewage water. The solution was tested on a pilot with a volume of 30 cubic meters.
Ÿ Solutions to remove magnesium and calcium salts from seawater: conductivity
drops from 43.5 mS/cm to 906 µS/cm in only 5 minutes.

SULFUR REDUCTION
Solution to reduce sulfur from crude oil at normal temperature
and atmospheric pressure: sulfur content has decreased from 1,4% to 0,66%.

Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF, FLUFF)
RDF is produced by shredding municipal and/or industrial solid waste as an alternative fuel for the cement industry, energetic industry, and metallurgic industry. The waste (residual waste after separate collection of recoverable materials) are treated through mechanical reprocessing and fractionation. The RDF obtained from this process is traded and co-burnt in installations for power generation or in a manufacturing process where heat is required.The product can be used for energy recovery and it is generally used for the following thermal conversion processes:! Co-combustion in coal fired baoilers;! Co-incineration in cement kilns;! Co-gasification with coal or biomass.
The use of RDF has the following advantages:! Permits to manage and valorize municipal waste and it is a valid
alternative to dumping and landfill. ! Use of RDF in industrial processes offers more flexibility than the
simple incineration of waste. Its use permits to reduce the emission of CO2 since the plants can partially replace the use of fossil fuel. ! According to the national environment policies, the use of RDF
permits to obtain a tradable commodity as white and green certificates. These certificates respectively prove that a specified amount of energy saving has been achieved and that certain electricity is generated using renewable energy sources.

APISORELIA is aware of the importance of
material recycling at a global level, in order to
conserve the natural resources. Recycling is a
k e y - s t e p t o w a r d s a m o d e r n w a s t e
management strategy, along with reducing
consumption and reutilizing resources.
APISORELIA is authorized to collect various
recyclable waste (e.g. paper and cardboard,
plastics, glass, metals, textiles, etc.) from
companies and state institutions. These
recyclable waste are then sorted by categories,
compacted and transported to companies
which are authorized for recycling. In this way,
it is ensured that the recyclable materials are
returning to the technological process.
