He made this observation after witnessing a Corporate presentation & interaction with senior management of RINL during his maiden visit to Visakhapatnam today. Sri Abbasi heaped all praise for RINL for maintaining “Clean & Green” environment not only in the plant but also in the township. He expressed confidence that RINL would soon get its raw material securitization and the Ministry of Steel is doing its best to achieve it. “RINL – A WELL RUN & ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY PLANT IN THE COUNTRY”

Sri Syedain Abbasi, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel observed that RINL is a modern, well run plant and most environment-friendly superior plant in the entire Indian Steel Industry. He made this observation after witnessing a Corporate presentation & interaction with senior management of RINL during his maiden visit to Visakhapatnam today. Sri Abbasi heaped all praise for RINL for maintaining “Clean & Green” environment not only in the plant but also in the township. He expressed confidence that RINL would soon get its raw material securitization and the Ministry of Steel is doing its best to achieve it.

explained the latest know-how incorporated in the plant and production from the new units to the visiting dignitary. He advised the officials of RINL to work hard to stabilize the news units to enhance the production levels.

While welcoming Sri Abbasi, Sri Umesh Chandra, Director (Operations) said that new initiatives like green technologies are being adopted in the plant and mentioned that RINL is adding another one million ton to reach to 7.3 mt with modernization of existing units.

Sri P Madhusudan, Director (Finance) while briefing the prudent financial management being implemented in the company, said RINL has carried out the expansion with total internal accruals and he has also mentioned that the Company has got the capability to meet the expenditure for the on-going modernization of the existing units from its own resources.

Sri YR Reddy, Director (Personnel), Sri NS Rao, Director (Projects), Executive Directors, General Managers and senior officials participated in the interactive session.
