APPRECIATION TO GEORGE AND MARIE McBRIDE We have enjoyed the fellowship and friendship of George and Marie for many years. God has called them to serve with Habitat for Humanity and will be relocating to Chiang Mai on 20 May 2017. We praise God for their faithfulness and service in HPC's Worship Service as Scripture readers. Also, Marie is an active supporter of the International Ladies’ Fellowship, reaching out to the non-Christian foreigners. We pray that God will bless them richly in their new endeavour and service. Pray for Pastor Eddy Lim as he starts his new ministry as the Senior Pastor at HPC. Pray for a smooth transition as he works with the Elders, Deacons, staff and lay leaders.

Pray for God's affirmation to our Church Leaders and members relating to our relocation of our Worship Service, ministries and church office.

Pray for a smooth ACM on 21 May 2017 as we elect / re-elect leaders and transact all required statutory business. Pray for Rev Dr William Wan as he chairs the ACM.

INSTALLATION OF SENIOR PASTOR In answer to our fervent prayers, the Rev Eddy Lim has responded to the call to be our Senior Pastor. It is with great joy and thanksgiving that we will be installing the Rev Lim TODAY during our worship service. Pastor Emeritus Rev Dr William Wan will be officiating. ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING (ACM) A) The 13th ACM will be held on 21 May 2017, 12pm, in the Main Sanctuary. This will be followed by lunch at the Fellowship Hall.

B) To establish the ACM quorum, please inform the church office by email, phone or at the WIC if you, your spouse or any family member is unable to attend. Your co-operation in this regard is much appreciated.

C) There will be election/re-election of Elders and Deacons into the Elders and Deacons Court for the term 2017-2020, as well as affirmation of plans and directions of the church. In your bulletin is an insert which gives the profiles of the candidates.

D) Soft copies of the ACM Report were emailed to members on 28 April. Please send in your queries, if any, by 7 May 2017. Those requiring hard copies can sign up at the WIC. DISCONNECT TO CONNECT: HPC FAMILY CAMP, 9-12 JUNE 2017 Venue: Harris Waterfront Resort, Batam. Speaker: Rev Dr Daniel Chua (Pastor-at-Large and former Senior Pastor, Mount Carmel BP Church). Today is the last day of registration. Please proceed to the registration booth after the Service if you have not done so. There will also be a pre-camp briefing for all participants on 4 June 2017 immediately after the Worship Service. Do stay behind to be briefed regarding travel, accommodation, programme and other relevant details. CHURCH ACCESS The church main gate was closed on 22 March to facilitate the MRT construction works. It will be closed for about two months. During this period, please use the other gate. All motorists are advised to drive with care, and note the directional and cautionary signage along the way.
