3. Notes on Plan Revisions

a. Practices linked to ProTracts contracts MUSTbe edited by a modification in ProTracts

b. Remember to change the Plan Approval Datefound under the “Reporting” tab

c. New land units CAN be added to a Master plan

3. Adding Existing or New PracticesTo The Master Plan

1. Creating a new pracrice on an entire existing field*

2. Creating a new practice on part of an existing field*a. if a practice layer is not present in the planb. if a practice layer is already present in the plan

3. Copying practices from one plan to the master plan*

4a. When To Create A New Folder

a. Check Toolkit for the Tract number. b. Check for the Customer name.

c. Check for the Operator name.

If none of the above appear in the Toolkit search thenyou can create a new customer folder

4b. When To Create A New Plan

1. Check Toolkit for the Tract number.2. Check for the Customer name.3. Check for the Operator name.

If any of the above appear during a Toolkit search thencheck out the folder(s), and examine the plans that arepresent. Create a new plan if the only plan present:1) is a CSP plan, 2) has a workflow status of “Completed”or “Non-Selected”, or3) was created before 2005 and has no practices linked to any

active contracts.

Do NOT create any new CRP plans this Spring.
