A number of Energy Change Institute members have contributed to the public discussion on a range of pressing energy issues including the Liddell power plant, the gas market, the need for bipartisan leadership, and the cost of renewables versus coal. Read more below. Please join us at the Energy Change Institute Open Day later this month to hear keynote speaker Professor Andrew Blakers discuss pumped hydro and 100% renewable energy futures, and to hear about the latest research from other ECI experts. And don't miss next month's ANU Energy Update where Australia's Chief Scientist will discuss the National Energy Market Review, and Ian Cronshaw from the IEA in Paris will present the World Energy Outlook 2017.
