Innovating at the speed of light Overview The AN/SPN-43D Radar Processor Upgrade is part of a comprehensive service life extension program (SLEP) to modernize and improve the ATC radars for the U.S. Navy’s CVN, LHD, and LHA class ships. C Speed’s Receiver and Radar Processor components, based on our flexible LightWave Radar technology, provide a highly cost-effective, modern, and easily installed & maintained solution to replace the aging SPN-43C receiver/processor equipment. The Radar Processor Upgrade is comprised of two key components, the Transceiver and the Radar Data Processor, each provided in a dual-redundant solution and packaged in three replacement drawers. These comprise a core part of the complete AN/SPN-43D upgrade kit, which leverages much of the existing equipment for a low-cost, low-impact solution.
