The Service Club would like to offer babysitting so parents have time to do their

Christmas preparations. They will offer babysitting on Saturday, December 14, from

We already have many items in our Lost and Found bins, including coats, shoes, gloves, etc. Please look in the bins for any items you may be missing. Also, please be sure to write your child’s name in uniforms, sweatshirts, coats, gym clothing, etc. This is a good idea for two reasons; first if we find an item in the Lost and Found bin with a name on it, we can return it to the owner, and second, it is very easy for the children to mix up their coats and uniforms. This is especially true with the upper grade students who change

clothes for gym. If their name is on their clothing they can be sure it belongs to them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Student Council is hosting a Fun Night for the sixth graders. It is from 6-8 this Friday, November

22 in the gym. Admission is $5 or $4 with a canned good. A light dinner and pop will be

included with the price of admission. Candy will also be available for sale. We hope to see all of

the sixth grade students there!

CHRISTMAS GIFT PROGRAM

‘Twas weeks before ChristmasAnd all through the school

Not a teacher gift had been bought,What would the parents do?

The artwork was hung,In the hallways with care,In hopes that the parentsAnd faculty would stare.

The children were studying,Struggling to stay awake,While anxiously waiting

For a long Christmas break.

The parents were lookingTo spread Christmas cheer

And thank teachers and staffWho in their hearts they held dear.

So I ran into schoolWith letters in hand

Requesting donationsBut never making demands.

Ten dollars, fifty dollarsOne hundred or two,

Any amount you’d like to giveWill certainly do!

So away to your checkbookWithout further delay,

Write your check to CashAnd send it in today!

Home and School is coordinating a voluntary Christmas Gift Program this year. This is a great way to show your appreciation for our faculty and staff instead of purchasing traditional presents or gift cards. If you would like to participate, please place your donation in an envelope with the attached form. Mark on the form the faculty and staff members you would like to include and each donation amount. Return the form with a single check payable to “CASH.” The submission deadline is December 11, 2019. Home and School will then distribute the money to each faculty and staff member along with a list of those families who made a donation. If you make a check out to Annunciation Home & School it will be returned. Donation amounts will not be listed. Any amount you would like to give is appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact Jolyce Seifrid at [email protected].

Reach out to those in our Annunciation family this Christmas who are in need of some TLC. Maybe it’s our neighbor or friend or relative who has been a vital part of our com-munity. It is our privilege to offer a little Good Cheer & Joy this Christmas season wrapped up in a cookie!

Please help us in baking some goodies to deliver around our parish this year, and if you have a recipient in mind, please share their name(s) with us.

Just bring any of your best confection in a disposable container in any amount to the Parish Patio on Sunday, December 15th between 8 & 11:00 AM. We’ll box an assortment, and with the help of welcome volunteers (both to sort & deliver), we’ll give many in our Annunciation Family a sweet, warm hug wrapped up with a bow and a prayer from all of us.

And, as for so many years past, Merry Christmas to All, and God Bless all of You,

the Bakers, who have given ‘Good Cheer & Joy’ to so many in our Parish!
