Focus 2017 - 18
This year our school focuses on 4 major areas.
(A) Hand writing
It is the basic tool and essential skill that child or a person should possess. Good hand writing can make students interested in studies which indirectly develop their brain.
(B) Value education
Critical decisions taken in one’s life depend on his value system. Teaching of values is an important component in student’s education. Value education builds qualities of humility, strength and honesty in a person. That is why this year too a set of 9 values is specially highlighted and teachers pass these values to the students. This helps them to become better citizens of the country with high ethical values and would never cheat others.
(C) Good manners
Inorder to live a happy, disciplined and peaceful life, a person should necessarily have good manners. A well behaving man gets respect and dignity in society. Teachers generally, encourage their students to inculcate good manners while they interact with them.
(D) Mathematical tables
Knowledge of Mathematical tables is the essential part of elementary
arithmetic. Without this rudimentary knowledge the students struggle
with mathematical operations. Once these are truly mastered, they will
stay with them for the rest of life. Thorough knowledge of mathematical
tables enhances problem solving ability of students.

Saynora 2018
Every student who begins school life must end it one day. On 8th
February our school bid farewell to the outgoing batch Class XII
students. Principal welcomed the gathering. The school manager
blessed them all and wished them a bright future. The students’
representatives shared their memories and experiences during their
school years. Rev.Fr. Bovas Mathew handed over the lighted candles
and addressed them not to curse the darkness, but to light the candle,
that can guide them through darkness to a safe and sane future. All
together the day was filled with nostalgia, fun and excitement.
And finally, as the year draws to close, I wish to place it on record, that
year 2017-’18 has been a very successful year during which we were
able to take several important decisions that benefit all our students
and parents. I do appreciate the constructive role played by Our Senior
Principal, Academic Supervisors, Teachers, Supporting Staff,
Administrative staff, Parents, and community around us for their
successful and wonderful performance which added to the reputation
of the school.
It goes without saying that the enthusiasm, determination, dedication
and hard work of our former Manager Rev.Dr. Varghese Naduthala who
was instrumental in bringing about positive changes in the school in a
miraculous way, has been an inspiring spirit in the overall development
of our school. I take this opportunity to lay on record our sense of
gratitude to him. If I don’t mention the name of our new Manager
Rev.Fr.Bovas Mathew, it will be an injustice. He is very popular among
the people of Anchal. A very efficient leader, effective administrator and
a good organizer. He is a person with a dream and a vision.
It is my honour and privilege to express my deep sense of gratitude
towards His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos and to His
Excellency Samuel Mar Irenios, Auxiliary Bishop of Trivandrum Arch
Diocese for their blessings and support. I also thank Rt.Rev.Dr. Mathew
Manakkara Kavil Cor Episcopa, the director of Unaided schools of the
Diocese for his support and care for St.John’s.
Thank you one and all..
