Annual day Celebration-18.4.15
St. Joseph’s English Medium School, Khalad celebrated its 8th Annual Day on 18th
April, 2015.Mr. Vijaybapu Shivtare (State minister for Water resource and Conservation) was
the chief guest But as he was busy so he visited the venue at morning at 11. 00 a.m.
Mrs. Sarika Ingale (Chairman of Pune Zilha Pareishad) , Mr. Michael Gonsalves(Sr.
Asst. Editor, financial Chronile, Pune) and Rev. Fr. Malcolm Sequeria( Vicar general, Pune)
were the special guests.Rev. Sr. A. Jehani, DMI (Correspondent DFT Group of schools), Rev.
Sr. Arockria Mary, DMI (Provincial – North Province) and Rev. Sr. Antony Amal(General
Counsellor) also graced the occasion with their presence.Rev. Fr. Wilfred and Rev. Fr. Jerald
were also among the guests who were present, along with Sisters and Brothers.
The annual function was special as almost all the students had participated in various
programmes. The program commenced at 6.30 pm when the guest arrived. They were
welcomed by the band of dholtasha and lazim.
Mrs. Ujwala welcomed the guests. Mast Lokesh and Mast, Shubham were Master of
Ceremony. Various cultural programmes were performed by students including tiny tots. 15
Programs were performed by students including tiny tots. 15 Programmes, including
pyramids and a skit were performed by the students. Guests and Parents appreciated the
programme. Honourable Principal, Mr. A. Xavier presented Annual Report while as Vice
Pricnipal Mrs. Anuradha Pore announced the gifts given by the parents to the school.
Chief guests Mrs. Sarika and Mr. Gonsalves gave the Speech. They both appreciated
the self service of the Sisters who serve the people with their hard work.
The programme ended by with Vote of thanks proposed by VP Mrs. Geetanjal.
Report on Science Exhibition
The science exhibition was hosted by our school on 22nd
of November 2014. The chief gusts
were Tahasildar Mr. Sanjay Patil. The students were given themes beforehand. Most of the
students from each class participated. The Science teachers encouraged all the students to
prepare good models. The exhibits were displayed in different classes according to the
standards.The programme began with welcoming the guests and Mrs. Geetanjali, VP gave
welcome speech. Our students presented beautiful welcome dance. Two of our chief guests
gave speech. They praised the infrastructure and the service of our sisters to educate the
students in a rural area. Mrs. Maske was MC. Then, the inauguration of the exhibition was
done by the Honourable guests.They all visited the classes were all the models were
exhibited. Pre-primary tiny tots also explained their models and the guests were delighted.
The models were arranged in five classes accordingly to the standards.The guests and
all the parents who visited the exhibition were impressed by the work of students. They all
praised and appreciated students.They also appreciated our Rev. Sr. Jyothi our respected
Principal and all the teachers to help the students to identify their talents and encouragement.
They all congratulated the teachers. Then the students of each standard visited the
exhibition with their class teacher.
Celebration
Ecology day Celebration
To add beauty to the nature we have celebrated Ecology day in our School on this day children
brought plant in procession by saying slogans. The plants were taken for planting.
Vegetable Day Celebration by Pre-Primary
Pre - Primary children celebrated Vegetable day on 14th
October 2014. Rev. Sr.
Administrator, Principal Sir and VPs were present for the celebration. All the students
brought various vegetables and charts of the vegetables. The children were excited and were
happy. Mrs. Geetanjali, Vice Principal gave information about the various vegetables.
Report on Fruits Day Celebration: Pre-Primary section:
Fruits day was celebrated on 19th
Nov. 2014, Wednesday in Pre-Primary section of
the school. Celebration started at 10.00 am. Pre primary teachers made seating arrangement
of students. All students brought different fruits.
Pre-primary teachers welcomed Administrator Rev. Sr. Jyothi, Rev. Sr. Daisy and
vice principal Mrs. A. Pore. Celebration started with introduction of fruits. Many students
brought fruit baskets. Teachers showed fruits and told fruits name & teacher asked students,
to identify colours of fruits teachers told benefits of eating fruits. Students brought lots of
Apples, bananas, guavas, Oranges, Chikooes, Some students brought mango, Papaya, kiwi,
coconut, lemon, pomegranate.
Very enthusiastically all the students participated in fruits day celebration. Then
aunties made fruit salad & distributed among students. UKG teacher Mrs. Afrin and few
students of Pre-primary section served the fruit salad to all the teachers.The students were
very happy.
