The Chair welcomed all to 2019 Labour Party Conference. Cllr Nancy Platts, Leader of Brighton and Hove Council addressed conference. Wendy Nichols, Chair of the National Executive Committee addressed conference.

15.43 Party Chair’s Report A video was shown. Ian Lavery MP, Party Chair addressed conference.

15.59 Financial Report Diana Holland, Party Treasurer presented the financial report. The following delegates made points: Kate Laycock, Labour International Ella Rose, LGBT+ Labour Mandy Clare, Eddisbury CLP Diana Holland replied to the points raised. A vote was taken to formally adopt the financial statements. The vote was unanimously carried.

Mick Whelan, National Executive Committee in the chair. Jim Kennedy, Chair of the Organisation Committee moved the National Executive Committee rule changes. The result of Card Vote 28 to accept the Conference Arrangements Committee Report was announced. The vote was carried. Indigo Haynes, North Cornwall CLP moved the amendment on a Devolved Cornish Labour Party. The amendment was seconded from the floor. Jim Brookshaw, Forest of Dean CLP moved the amendment on Aims and Values. The motion was seconded by Mike Hogan, Liverpool Wavertree CLP. Soodabeh Balali Brent Central CLP, withdrew the amendment on Election of Labour Group Leaders. David Brennan, Wirral West CLP remitted the amendment on Elected Representatives Code of Conduct.
