1) Copy the picture from the Photoshop, to adobe flash file

This is the simple blue background picture

Picture copied into adobe flash

2) Copy the picture of the sword from the Photoshop, to adobe flash file.

3) Removing grey background. Once photo copied into flash file the photo had a grey background I’ve removed the grey background in order to use the sword in the animation.

4) Place the sword in a position to create the animation.

5) Decided how many seconds and frames the sword will take from the edge of the frame into the middle

( FPS=Frame per speed )16 frames=1sec

47 frames = 2.9sec (16fps)

Key frame 1 (background -2% brightness)

Key frame 2 (background -87% brightness)

6) Adjust brightness at the start of the animation and end

7) Create classic tween, this option in adobe flash creates a moving animate between 2 objects in 2 different key frames. So the sword will move from the edge of the screen to the middle in 2.9 sec. And the background will fade in.

8) Copy the final indent from its Photoshop file into adobe flash.

9)Added a range of frames and layers and changed animation a bit

10) Frame 1 of explosion copied the image, broke it apart and edited it.

Same process for the other frames only that for the other frame I had to convert the image into a symbol before editing it.
