Hiked up 2 mountains
Enjoyed our stay with our family
Learned about Romanian culture and food
Small “hobby farms” that sustain 1 family
Traditional methods of farming More farming by hand than machine
Herdsmen that followed the cattle
5 cows on a farm was considered a large farm
Put the animals in the barn at night Don’t leave them out on the pasture
Very hospitable
Anxious to show us their best food and
accommodations
Guests should not do any work
Great Experience to see another culture
Did not want to leave
Enjoyed every minute of our home stay
