A Unit studying Animals and their habitats.Mrs. DuncansonSecond Grade Unit SummaryThis Life Science Unit, designed for second graders will enable students to explore and learn about different animals and their habitats, while developing skills in observing and describing the animals physical characteristics and behaviors. Through the use of nonfiction sources, students will be encouraged and challenged to learn more about animals, how to do research with nonfiction, informational material, reporting on their discoveries, completing a group project, and using technology. At the end of this unit, students will present completed animal reports and PowerPoint presentations.
