MY MUM’S MIGRATION STORY

COMING TO NEW ZEALAND

My mum was from Taiwan and she was migrating to New Zealand.

It was frustrating because she had to sell the house in Taiwan and throw the furniture away or sell it to second hand shops but apart from that she still had to do a lot.

WHY MY MUM MIGRATED

The reason my mum migrated was because she wanted a better and quieter life and she thought NZ was the place to go.

Though New Zealand is very different to Taiwan it has lots of things that Taiwan does not and it goes the same for New Zealand.

THE CHALLENGES

There were a lot of challenges like driving because in Taiwan the steering wheel is on the left side of the car however in New Zealand the steering wheel is on right.

Those were not the only challenges/hardships because New Zealand is quite a complete different country to Taiwan.

SOME DIFFERENCES

The air here in New Zealand is much fresher

In taiwan there is more people which means there’s more transportation.
