Introduction

For my Extended Project I am delving into U.F.O.s and Aliens for one of four conspiracy topics.

I have done in-depth secondary research using a wide range of sources. E.g. Internet, Books, Magazines, YouTube and Newspapers.

After completing my Secondary Research, I have began to undertake Primary Research.

Introduction (continued)

I have designed a questionnaire and got students of Salford City College Eccles Centre to complete.

I got them to complete these in the ‘Tutorial lessons’ and return back to me via the class tutors.

I was astounded at the response which was overwhelming!

With this graph you can clearly see which age is most apparent.

The age that was most applicable was 17. 16 was second.

18 came third. The rest consisted

Question 4

The majority of students asked didn’t believe in U.F.Os

I think this is because they have never looked into them or just impartial.

Question 5

A huge 46 of the 75 questioned strongly disagreed of witnessing a U.F.O.

Age: The age range was between 16 to 21. The life experience is relatively short.

Location: Most people questioned lives in densely populated suburban areas. Light pollution is a massive factor.

It has been noted that people in the countryside look at the night sky a lot more than built up areas.

Again the age range points to a shortness of life experience.

It interesting that the second in the results was strongly agree.

Maybe their parents or older relatives have witnessed this phenomenon?

Question 7

I was quite surprised at this particular result.

The majority of people asked had a neutral view on this statement.

Maybe they wasn't aware of the Roswell Incident so couldn't comment?

Question 8

As in the previous question the majority of people were neither in agreement or disagreement.

If they didn't know about the Roswell Incident they would not be able to make a connection between the two.

Interestingly enough, 19 people did have strong beliefs that Area 51 does have U.F.Os/Aliens recovered from Roswell.

Question 10

Airline Pilot was most believable.

I think this is because they are in a profession where they are in the sky for the majority of their job.

The least believable source for witnesses was Government Official. Maybe this is because they are notoriously infrequent with talking the truth?
