I’m not good at saying it but I’m good at writing it, so I need to know how to say it better Just keep on practising – just get a paper and write a number on it and stick it to something then if I’m not doing something just look at it and practice. I need Smartkiddies, maybe. Every now and then I’ll write it in my book and change it every week. Keep on practising to myself. Uara Tū I am learning to count how many 10s and 100s there are in a number. Counting how many 10s is the easiest. I need to learn decimals and percentages – I know nothing about them Counting how many 100s and 1000s there are in bigger numbers Mathskiddies and mathletics Get some worksheets off smarkiddies Hautanga I am good at writing and saying simple fractions like ½, 1/5, 1/3, 1/4 Ko tēhea o ēnei e ōrite ana ki te 12/4? 48 1/3 8 3 Whaea Roimata will teach me Meka Matua I am good at simple adding, subtraction, multiplication I’m not good at division and I don’t really understand it Meka matua starts getting hard when it gets into the 1000s Whaea Roimata, Smartkiddies, Mathletics and people in my class that know Ngētehi atu:

Keep reading in groups even though we don’t like it. It’s good to learn because then we learn how to read and understand the story more.
