EVERITT CLOSES OUT 2014 WITH A HOLIDAY SING-A-LONG On Tuesday, December 23rd, at 1:45pm, The Everitt gym was rocking, once again, as 2014 came to a

close with a Holiday Sing-A-Long. The program included “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” from our

Kindergarten classes, First graders performed “We Love Snowflakes”, the theme song from “Polar

Express” was sung by Second grade, Third grade was “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree”, “O Holy

Night” was performed by Fourth grade, “Twas The Night Before Christmas” was recited by Mr.

Kausch’s class, and our Fifth graders sang “Dominick the Donkey”. The program also included a visit

from “Echo our school mascot”, and “Pete the Cat saves Christmas” was read by Mrs. Stahl and Ms.

Maurizi. All participated in the various Sing-A-Long songs and a good time was had by all. Special

thanks to our first grade teachers Mrs. Bettelli, Mrs. Boyle, and Mr. Wells (MC) for organizing and

coordinating this program.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to the Samuel Everitt School Community. Together, 344 pairs of socks were donated for the homeless during our December sock drive.Your thoughtfulness will provide warmth to the homeless and needy.
