Dear CNYRLDA Member, I’m presenting to you the 2016 CNYRLDA Member Advertising Program. With great success, our efforts are being noticed by our members. We are expanding our efforts to include both Spring and Fall TV runs. New for 2016 will be a series of debate ads featuring the strengths of the independent retail lumber yards and home centers in comparison to our larger competitors. The TV commercials focus on our expert service, trained employees, project assistance, competitive pricing, and community support. In addition, our website www.localbuildingmaterials.com is being revamped to offer greater value and visibility to the consumer (contractors and DIY). It will offer more information and lend itself to even greater website search engine optimization (SEO). Our goal is that when consumers research any of the products that we carry (decking, lumber, millwork, hardware, building materials, fasteners, etc.) they will see our site near or at the top of the search list. Ultimately they will easily find our site in their product research and then be directed to your website. CNYRLDA has pre-purchased huge blocks of airtime and is, again, subsidizing the efforts to make the program even more affordable for members. Ultimately, you are getting double the airtime (along with professionally produced commercials) than you can on your own.
