They are similar to my band because of the indie genre. My music has a mixture of the indie and ska genres within their music. The band wears clothes such as skinny jeans and plain tops. Also, their messy hair reflects the genre as a care free band that are all about fun.

MadnessMadness are a British ska band from Camden Down, London, that formed in 1976. Smaller Than You also have a music style similar to the ska bands of the seventies. This is shown by the use of trumpets and saxophones within their songs. Although they are an older band, they reflect what youngsters are about. The song names such as ‘Baggy Trousers’ and ‘House Of Fun’ reflect the fun and care free image of the band Madness.

This is the official website for Madness. They have used a pun of the newspaper ‘Daily Mail’ as the main title of what is happening. This demonstrates that people of this genre are associated with this media comsumption.
