ANALYSIS AND CONCLUSION.

We have done a research on vandalism. We

interviewed common people and also some

important authorities . The following are the set

of questions that we asked during the interview.

The questions that we asked the common people:

1) what is your name?

2) what do you think of vandalism?

3) Did you face any problem?

4) Did you take any action against it?

5) Did the BMC take any action against it?

The questions that we asked to a Senior police

inspector:

1) What is your name?

2) Have you witnessed vandalism?

3) What steps you have taken against it?

4) What is your advice to the common people when

they come across such situation?

A Comparison with other countries.

In countries like USA, Netherlands vandalism is very less . The policy against vandalism is very strict in these countries. The people in these countries are well educated and have awareness about the repercussions that they would face if they vandalise any thing. Like in the city of Middleburg , there are agencies like HALT which act against vandalism.

In our country ,India vandalism is high compared to other developed countries. The people of the country are not the aware of the consequences that they would face at a later stage. But the government officials are taking a step to educate the people about it.

A Comparison among the cities in our country.

• Cities like Mumbai,Banglore and Dehli,etc have very less vandalism compared to the other cities in the country. The people in these cities are well educated and are aware about vandalism and the consequences of it. They are taking efforts against it with the help of the Police.

• Cities in Assam , Orissa etc face higher vandalism. The people in these cities are not well-educated and are not aware about the effects of vandalism. But the government of these states are taking an initiative to educate these people about it.

Now the BMC officials are taking an

initiative to maintain the roads.

If anybody is found vandalising

it, strict actions are taken against

that person.

• In our region , Bus shelters are being maintained.

• If anybody’s caught vandalising it, the BMC charges them with a fine.

Our conclusion.

• While researching on the topic ‘vandalism’ we realised that the police are taking efforts to stop vandalism against it, we really thank them for it.

• Even the people have started realising that if they vandalise any thing , it is them who are going to face the problems. After all, they are the ones to use it.

• Many people have started programmes to educate people about it . So it is high time we stop vandalism.
