An Epistle from Paul:We Have the Green Light! – I said the following would be brought up to the men at last night’s Leadership Meeting. I asked the men if they would be supportive of the church challenging those in the church family who are not presently tithing. Here then is the challenge. Try tithing for the next three months and if after that

time you and your family haven’t experienced the promise of God to open the windows of blessings (spiritually and physically) then the church will fully refund your money with no questions asked.

Now why would the men be so willing to back such a plan? Aren’t we afraid things may backfire? What if an individual or family tries tithing for the first time and they want their refund?! Will we really give their money back? You bet, in a heartbeat, without question! Isn’t this a risky “scheme”? Absolutely NOT! We take God at His word and are confident that any individual or family who seriously takes on this challenge will learn the joy and blessing that comes from giving the way the Lord wants us to give!

As was shared Sunday, God gives in His Word the Christian equation when it comes to giving:

90% + God’s blessings = far more than100% - God’s blessings!

How about it dear brother and sister? If you presently are not tithing of your income to the Lord’s work here, take on this challenge and try it for ninety days. Those of us who are presently tithing and beyond will be more than happy to testify how the Lord has proven Himself true and faithful to us in this very matter!!!!

To Go Toward Building Fund!As we have done this in the past. The last Sun. in November will be our “Thanksgiving Offering” to be given to the Building/Expan-sion Fund. We are calling upon the church family to give above and beyond in their tithes and offerings this day to go toward this important fund. New Trip is Planned!For years Airstream trailers have been considered the standard by which to measure travel trailers. They have and continue to be built right up the road

from us at Jackson Center, OH. Thursday, November 30th, we will be taking the bus full of those who would like to go with us on a tour of their manufacturing plant. The cost is right – Zero! Afterwards we will eat a meal together at the local restaurant called the Heidout Restaurant. We understand their homemade pie and their sandwich selection are “outstanding” and worth a try. There will be a signup sheet in the foyer this coming Sunday…!!

Youth Groups this Sunday, November 15th! Our older and younger youth are reminded that this coming Sunday here at the building youth groups will be meeting. Chris/Tonya Woods and Jon Rieger will be teaching the older youth… Missy Rieger will be teaching the elementary youth… Charlotte Eby will be teaching the preschool youth… Mary and Paul will be doing music with the younger youth prior to their going to class…

Our Annual Church Thanksgiving Meal!

Sunday, November 19th here at the building we will be having our annual thanksgiving meal. What a blessed time this has been for all of us in the past. There will be a list of food matters to be signed which will help us make the kind of preparations we need to make… As a congregation we have so much for which to give thanks. Let this gathering continue to grow in our expressing thanks to God for His bountiful grace and mercy He has and continues to bestow on us!!!
