According to the State of Michigan’s Revised School Code, a child can enroll in kindergarten if he/she were at
least five years old as of September 1 in the 2015-2016 school year.

Along with social adjustment the children will be exposed to many learning opportunities in a
developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Regular Tuition Class:
Parents are not scheduled to help in the classroom, but may volunteer. Childcare may be available for
siblings, ages birth to five years, on Tuesday while parents are in the classroom.
Reduced Tuition Class:
Parents are scheduled to help in the classroom about 9 times a year. Childcare may be available for
siblings, ages birth to five years, on Tuesday morning.

2. I will attend the mandatory Parent Orientation Meeting.
3. I will pay a one-time-a-year Activity Fee of $95 at Parent Orientation. This fee covers all offsite field trips
for preschool student and one adult, in-school presentations, parties, parent/family events, activities and
supplies. The Activity Fee and first month tuition may be combined into one check. Please note that the
Activity Fee and the Registration Fee “Do Not Apply To The Tuition” and are “Non-Refundable”.
4. If desired, a Keyless Entry Card (KEC) is available for at $10 rental fee. $10 fee is refunded when the KEC
is returned at the end of the school year.
5. My child will conform to the medical requirements of the State of Michigan
a.) I will bring a copy of my child’s Immunization Report and Birth Certificate to Parent Orientation.
b.) I will complete the Health Appraisal Form and return it to school by October 1.
c.) I will bring the completed Child Information Card, Family History Sheet and Photo Consent Form to
the “Meet the Teacher” Day.
6. My child will, by the first day of school, be able to perform bathroom and toileting needs independently
(pull pants up/down, wipe self, turn water on/off, and wash and dry hands).

1. I will participate at my child’s birthday celebration for all or part of the school session.
2. I will attend seasonal parties with my child. All parties are the last hour of class. Free childcare is

writing, number writing, cognitive skills such as name, letter and number recognition, science and
mathematical concepts and emergent literacy activities to encourage and support balanced pre-reading and
writing development.
Parents may volunteer to help in the classroom. Childcare for siblings, ages birth to five years, may be
available on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings while parents help in the classroom.
Class time is from 9:00-11:30 am each morning.
