Summary

I wanted an adapter which allows me fixing a drag-knife to my CNCwithout taking the spindle out.The drag-knife adapter allows the blade to move in the vertical direction afew millimeters. Put a little sponge inside the adapter before inserting theblade, this has a spring effect which forces the blade down but is not asrigid as something fixed, it gives the knife some flexibility so it is notdamaged when put in place by the z-Axis.

The drag-knife I use is for the standard Silhouette desktop cutters (https://www.amazon.de/Silhouette-America-SILH-BLADE-PREM-hobbyplotter-Schneideplotter/dp/B00YU7T7NU/ref=sr\_1\_2?keywords=silhouette+premium+blade+3+pack&linkCode=gs3&qid=1582548532&s=kitchen&sr=1-2
