WELCOME

Our first topic of the couse, was “describing yourself”.

We made a simple physical of us and things that we like or not.

There were some links in teacher´s blog.

COLORS

In the book (unit one) one of the topics was to learn the colors, so…

We found some links that help us to practice this.

OUR FIRST PROJECT

One of the important and interesting things that we did during the year, was hoe to learn to make a blog.

GETTING TO KNOW ME

Our first task using the blog was to post our descriptions.

We used slide and some pictures about us.

A BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN CENTRAL AMERICA

We selected and describe some place, that we choosed in groups of 3, in America.

The description was with text and audio.

A MULTIMEDIA LIBRARY

After the voice project we read and listened about some curricular topics. There was some wonderful videos that we can find here.I really liked that. This is very interesting.

JUST FOR FUN.

We can saw an internet page with lots of songs ang music to sing karaoke.Also, we visiteda place designed by an English teacher from France. The games and activites was so funny.

LISTEN TO YOUR TEXT

We used an internet page called Voice Thread and we can make a description with pictures and audio.

PRACTISE READING STORIES

We practice our pronunciation reading simples stories for kids. Oh!! It was so pretty!! We did it in the blog and with the teacher in the classroom.

“DÍA DE MUERTOS” PROJECT

In Prepa 1, on october the students usually make some offers because of the tradition in México of “Día de Muertos”.

So, we investigated about it and made a description.

THANKSGIVING

This is an important celebration in the USA.

We read and listened information about it, and after we answered 10 questions

FIRST PROJECT: YOUR CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.

We did some a presentation with PowerPoint about our Christmas vacation. Using a contrasting color with the verbs in past tense.

MEET THE AWESOME NEW ANIMALS.

The activity was to simulate that we were the news reporter at an animal park. So, we created a brochure inviting people to come and meet the new animals in the park.

ANIMAL TRIVIA

In groups of four, we used the information on the brouchures to made 20 questions about animals that can be answered with “YES” or “NO”.

Also, in the teacher´s blog is an activity about the names of animals.

VALENTINE´S DAY

This time, we only made an e-card using the aplication “Valentine card creator”.

We made a mural with cards that the students did for this time.

TELLING TIME

We practice how to read the time using video dictations.

FUN PICTURES

What happens when you take a photo at the right angle?We describe this funny pictures, and then, we compare this with another descriptions of a guy from USA (Hank).

EXAM CARDS, COMPUTER TUTOR AND YOUR SCHEDULE.

In the classroom somebody would have exam card, an others were in “mediateca” doing differents activities.

PRACTISE THE PAST TENSE

This is a warner bros. Cartoon, with activities in past tense.

We write the answers on the notebook.

PAST TENSE VERBS

This is a simple activity using verbs in past tense.

It is a game.

QUESTIONS BASED ON VIDEOCLIPS

This is almost the last activitie of the year.

We saw nine videoclips (english bites) and then, we answer the questions and take notes.
