ART GARFUNKEL

Reply card enclosed.

We are pleased to present Simon Etzel, a dedicated leader and supporter of our community-at-large with the esteemed Lunin Award. Simon, Senior Vice President of Procurement and a principal owner of the construction services firm, KBE Building Corporation, has a noteworthy desire to help and serve others. He has not only shared his talents and support with Jewish Senior Services for many years, he has been involved with a variety of community organizations, currently serving as the chair of The Cove Center for Grieving Children’s Board of Trustees and as a member of the Advisory Council for Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven.

We are equally thrilled to present Lydia Gerard with the Lotstein Award. An indispensable part of the Jewish Senior Services family for almost 15 years, she has given of her time generously as a volunteer and dedicated leader in the Women’s Auxiliary as the 18th President, active Board Member, event co-chair and committee member.

Your presence and participation in supporting the mission of the Women’s Auxiliary, now entering its 47th year, enhances Residents’ quality of life by enriching the programs of Jewish Senior Services.

Art Garfunkel is back in love with being on stage. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member had taken time off to recover from a vocal ailment before returning to the stage this year. Blessed with what the New York Times described as a “beautiful countertenor”, Art has made an indelible mark on the music world as both a solo artist and half of the unrivaled Simon & Garfunkel. He has also enjoyed a successful film career, published a book of poetry and released 12 original solo albums.
