Cartoon Characters have a secret weapon. This secret weapon is able to open doors for your marketing and communication - doors that often remain closed with other methods.

This webinar is the entertaining story of that secret - presented by a cast of characters, including a terrible monster.

There is a link at the end of this deck to the associated blog and webinar recording.

Why

Why smart brands use Characters

It’s 10 000 BC. Life was kind of simple.

You had to do two things: find food …

… and you had to try not to become food.

Other people were important to your survival.

1. The saw things you missed

2. They gave you useful stuff.

3. They offered you great services.

There was a problem though: not everyone offered the same quality products.

… and some offered really bad services.

Figuring out who you could trust and work with was a big problem

After much deliberation we figures out a really cool formula. But it turned out to be very, very complicated.

To solve the problem the mind came up with a clever solution: it notified us about the result of all it’s calculations with a single emotion called Feel Good.

If you had a good feeling about someone it was OK to trust them.

Today you have loads of people who want you to have their products and services.

With all the noise it has again become difficult to figure out who you should trust.

The questions is: “where is the Feel Good in all this Blah, Blah, Blah?”

And that is why smart brands use characters.

Characters promise you a Feel Good experience that gets the brand through the door.

Character are synonymous with entertainment: captivating, refreshing, resonates, great personalities, fun stories, emotional connection, engaging, different, memorable …

Entertainment automatically puts you in a more relaxed mood.

And when you are relaxed you tend to be more inclined to pay attention to what someone is telling you.

?

No, but it says a lot about the people behind the product or service.

It says they really care about how you feel about them and their products and services.

And if they care about how you feel they are going to make sure they look after you.
