There are a few people that may say, Weston is drab, even on a good day. The weather is miserable, the pier is so cold. Everything seems to be rundown and old.But if you’re lucky, and your mind is openYou can see the wonders of Weston, Wonders unspoken.

There’s plenty to see in this sandy town, Bring your kids and your grandparents down.Build some sandcastles and eat some chips,Lick that ice-cream from off your lips.Get into your car, bring your bucket and spade,And see the wonders of Weston and prepare to be amazed.

Sculpures 2013

In 2006 two sand sculptors from The Netherlands stepped foot onto Weston seafront and created a giant King Kong from 30 tonnes of sand. The following year, eight sculptors from across

Europe turned 120 tonnes of sand into four sculptures, depicting fairy tales on the beach lawns.

This year showcases the sand sculptures celebration of anything Hollywood.

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside

Weston super Mare is fortunate enough to enjoy one of the longest and naturally occuring beaches in the UK. It is no wonder that tens of thousands of tourists flock to Weston each month to enjoy the golden sands. A little known fact about Weston is that it has the second highest tidal range in the world. A massive 15 meters, This has given rise to the name Weston super Mud over

the years. But do not be fooled Weston has an amazing beach, its only if you fancy a walk to Wales that you will certainly find some yourself stuck in the mud.

So if you’ve been to the to see the sandsculptures and walked along the golden beach, in true English tradition why not hop on a donkey and have a trot along the sea front.
