The team of Machine-Building Faculty has been the winner and a prize holder of international and All Russia contests on Theory of Machines and Mechanisms for 16 recent years.

Alexey Smirnov, a graduate of the Faculty of Energetics and Electrotechnics invented and got the patent for “Transportation vehicle for impaired people” and took part in international contest “James Dyson Awards”.

The graduate of the Faculty of Design and Computer Technologies Yuriy Dmitriev has created a unique concept of bio refrigerator and got the 2-nd place at the final of the international contest of industrial design by “Electrolux”
