Work for Year 5 during school closure – Week 2

Reading: Read at least 30 minutes per day. Choose 4 unfamiliar words from you book and look up their meaning, synonyms and antonyms.Record your work in a table. Try to do one table for each reading session you do.

Also, attached are the same 5 mini-missions for you to complete, pick at least 2 that you have not already completed.

Writing: Whilst you are off we would like you to keep up your writing by doing 3 pieces, all in different styles of genre! Use your top ticks and remember to think about the reader. Be as creative as you can!

You will be writing three pieces of work this week: character description, setting description or story using either pobble365 or a picture from below. You can do a different picture for each writing style or the same for all three. Remember to use success criteria.
