EXPECTATIONSResponsible for oversight of the Ocean Freight DepartmentFull responsibility to set up, clear, ensure delivery of ocean freight – full supply chainC-TPAT oversightWork with all Government agenciesFully understanding of working in an OTI/NVOCC transportation areaAbility to negotiate ocean carrier rates, and ability to route cargo on vesselsMust have excellent customer service skills!

ESSENTIALS

Experienced Ocean Freight management – min 5 yrs to include working for an NVOCCFull Supply Chain forwarding experienceWill cover carrier negotiations, interactions, issuesWorking with government agencies, C-TPAT experienceAbility to meet all requirements for the OTI application processExtensive experience in Microsoft applicationsWorking with Military shipping a plus!!Some travel with Sales group to clients
