Filter Modes are “Off”, “Auto” and “Manual”. Those may be selected here.

In the Manual Filter Mode, the “Filter Cutoff Freq.” may be entered. Note: The Vibrations Test in Diagnostics may be used to determine this frequency.

In the Manual Filter Mode, the Filter Avg Time may be entered. Note: A typical Avg Time is 1/Filter Cutoff Freq. Ex. If the Filter Cutoff Freq. is 6 then1/6 is .167. So 167 would be entered here.

At this point, the Flash Card should be inserted into the USB port.

Select the System to be updated.

Follow instructions provided with the software update package.

If the APPLICATION is being updated, once START is selected, thefollowing screen displays:

Press the “Source Directory Browse” Button and select the USB Device and the directory per the instructions provided with the software update.

Typically, the destination directory is defaulted to the correct destination. Refer to installation Instructions.

Press the “Execute” ButtonThe software will be updated and the VersaWeigh software shuts down and restarts.

The graph will indicate the amplitude and frequency of any vibration present.

Note: A calibrated tachometer may be needed for this step.Select the “Motor Speeds” Tab

Ensure the “Target” and “Measured” Speeds are correct.

If not, press the “Calibrate button for the desired motor.

Monitor and record the A/D count with an empty weightable.

Place a weight on the table and record the A/D count.

Remove and replace the weight several times while monitoring the A/D count. The counts should repeat to the same approximate number.

Ensure that the incoming line voltage is what it is supposed to be and Neutral to GND voltage is no more than 3Vac.

Diagnostics – Resetting the Motor Controllers

Stop the motors. Raise the tail roller on each of the conveyors so that there is no

drag on their respective motors. Open the rear cabinet door and press the red reset button on

each of the motor controllers. Start the Motors. The motors will step through their reset and calibration cycle. Return the tail rollers to their operating position and restart the

motors.

Diagnostics – Bypassing the Motor Controllers

Open the rear cabinet door. Raise the protective cover on the CBO (CanBus Override). Place the CBO Override switch in the “ON” position. Press the “Start” Button on the CBO. Adjust the conveyor speeds by pressing and releasing either the

“Increase” or “Decrease” Buttons on the CBO. Stop the motors by pressing the “Stop” Button on the CBO. Disable the CBO by returning the CBO ON/OFF switch to the

“OFF” position.
