Earth Day Summit.

            The summit was also carbon balanced through renewable energy provided by EarthEra. 100 percent of EarthEra’s funds go toward the construc=on of addi=onal wind and solar facili=es.       Above: DU Campus

  Colorado photographer John Fielder spoke on the rela6onship of ecology and economy, and encouraged poli6cal engagement alongside environmental advocacy. 

A discussion panel included Brianna Borin from Snooze AM Eatery, Jonny 5 from Flobots, and Shannon Spurlock‐‐the 

Community IniBaBves Coordinator for Denver Urban Gardens. 

       The DU Earth Day Summit was zero‐waste: the food was composted and all the dishes and linens were reusable.  

The Summit gave a@endees a sustainable goodie‐bag, which included a bandana printed with goals for DU NO IMPACT 

WEEK, which is only one iniKaKve as part of their month long celebraKon of Earth month.
