Junk food is everyone’s favourite and often one is tempted to indulge in some of these guilty pleasure foods. Taj InnerCircle Expert Nutritionist Suman Agarwal

shows how to stick to healthy convictions without having to give up on the craving.

Give Sev Puri a healthy makeover by replacing the papdis (puris) with cucumber slices and the starchy potato topping with moong or sprouts.

Use tahini-free red hummus in place of tomato sauce. Topping it with colourful veggies and low fat cheese along with the sauce brings down overall calorie and fat content in the dish. A regular pan

pizza may contain more protein but it has 7 times more fat content compared to regular pizza.

Transform Vada pav into a healthy snack by making it a toastie; that is baking the vada instead of frying it. Also, adding fresh paneer will help fill in the

missing protein component.

Add sprouts to the bhaji which is made using an array of colourful vegetables. Sprouts replenish the missing protein component and it tastes so similar that

one can hardly tell the difference.
