Now society uses the internet to learn about what’s going on in the news in their town and worldwide. We used to get daily newspapers, but now with all the cut backs, local newspapers have cut back production. Our newspaper doesn’t deliver everyday anymore instead they delivery two days a week but they post the newspaper online.

Online education is so convient for those who have careers and children that make it difficult to attend traditional classes.

This the day of social networking. We would rather instant message someone, chat on line and communicate with friends and family using social networking such as Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter.

The internet is a great place for entertainment. You can play games, visit sites like youtube, listen to music and watch videos on the internet as well. There are all types of entertainment on the internet, you can even watch television shows you maybe missed on tv or even movies.

Online shopping is very convenient for those who may not be able to get to the stores! And it’s fun and a little additive!!!!

Online banking allows you to manage your bank account even when you can’t make it to the bank. This online feature lets people stay more aware of their account status.

Instead of going from place to place looking for a job people now use the internet to search for jobs in their related field.

We use the internet to book flights, finds hotel rooms, and even rent cars. There are sites that offer discount prices for these services and they make it very easy to travel. There are also sites such as Ticketmaster that also allows you to purchase tickets for different events online.

Online dating has become a major deal lately. There have actually been some real love connections online. But I feel that this a very dangerous usage of the internet. You may meet someone that is not a nice person and may bring harm to someone, so I advise people to be careful when meeting someone online
