The platform: login
In order to log into the KPMG MyAcademy platform you have to enter your username and password (case sensitive) and
then click on the Login button.
If you’ve forgotten your password, please refer to the FAQ section of this tutorial to learn how to reset it.
Warning: when you access the system for the first time, you will be requested to personalize your password (see the
following slide).

Enter your current password, choose a new password
and click on Save changes.

In most cases you are not able to access the final test until the e-learning section is complete, and the certificate only
becomes available upon passing the final test.

When you click on the
course title, the course
structure will appear
as seen to the right.
When you complete one or all of the activities
that make up the course, the “progress” will
update accordingly.
The My TO Dos section of the homepage is where you will find a list of all the courses in which you have been enrolled, and
the progress of completion for each course.

your list of courses provides you with two
links:
1. Personal reporting; and
2. Transcript
1. Personal reporting
When you click on this link, you will be
brought to a page where all of your
courses are listed. You can select one or
all of the courses that you would like to
extract a report from.
Select the courses and then click on the
“Use these filters” button, and then either
view the results directly on the screen or
download in excel format.

On the homepage and at the top of the screen, you will find links to 4 sections: My Profile, My Achievements, Catalogue and
Collaboration.
In the My Profile section
you may have the
possibility to upload your
photo, and view your
account details such as
your name, the last time
you accessed the
platform, and view all of
the badges you have
earned.
In the My Achievements
section, you can view all
of the badges and credits
that you have earned for
the completion of courses
and other activities.
The Catalogue links you
to the list of courses
available on the platform.
The Collaboration link
brings you to the
Discussion forum page
where you can read,
participate and
contribute in the various
discussions that are
relevant to you.

Courses: the structure
By clicking on the title of the course on
your home page you will access the
course page.
A standard course is made up of:
1. a lesson, that you have to complete
to access the test;
2. a final test, that you have to pass in
order to complete the course;
3. a certificate of completion that you
can print or save.
Click on the lesson title to start the
course.

Use the “Next button” on the course bar to
navigate throughout the course
The structure of the course is shown in
the Menu tab to the left of the main
screen.
When a screen has been visited the title
of the screen in the menu changes from a
dark to a light grey colour.

ATTENTION: you can access the course wherever and whenever you want: the “Bookmark” function allows you to
start the course from the last screen you viewed.
On the left side of your screen you will find two tabs: Audio script which allow you to read the audio script; and the; at the
top right of the screen you will find the Resources where you can download documents “attached” to the course and the
Glossary tab where you can find the explanation for certain relevant terms and words that are used throughout the course.

Courses: the final test
Once you have completed all the
units of the lesson, you have to
go back to the Course page to
access the final test.
Click on Exit Activity at the top
right of the screen (above the
main course screen) and then
select Final Test (see right).
When you access the test a page opens showing you the maximum number of attempts you have to take the test.
If you have already taken the test, a summary of your previous
attempts is shown.
Select Attempt quiz now (or Re-attempt quiz) to take the test.

If you have passed the test and you would like to print out your certificate, you have to go back to the Course page.

If the course is completed, and the test has been passed, the “Certificate” will become available. In order to print out the
certificate click on “Certificate” and follow the instructions.
A new window will open with your certificate. You can either save or print it.

To use the password reset functionality, click on Forgotten you username or password? on the login page.
•To reset your password, submit your username or your email address below. If we can find you in the database, an email
will be sent to your email address, with instructions how to get access again.
•After you have entered your username and e-mail address you will receive an e-mail with your new password.

In order to access the final test you have to complete the lesson. When all the prerequisites have been satisfied, a blue
checkmark will appear on the topics page and the final test will become clickable.

In addition to the minimum technical requirements for the
KPMG courses, to make full use of the KPMG Learning
Academy platform, you will need to have JavaScript
activated on your PC.

Integrated 16-bit sound card and speakers.
Screen resolution of 1024x768 and high color video
display (16 bit).
Adobe Flash Player 10.0 (or higher, which can be
downloaded from www.adobe.com); there is a problem,
with 10.0.45.2 version. Please, don’t install this version.
Internet Explorer (version 7 or higher).
Acrobat Reader (version 10 or higher).
In order to ensure that the platform’s tracking system functions correctly, it is highly recommended that you uninstall any
extra Toolbars from your Browser (i.e. Google Toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar, etc).
