To create a simple sentence, we follow simple rules.

Questions, commands, exclamations and statements.

There are four types of simple (or short) sentences.

Statements are the most common short sentence, so we’re

going to focus on them.

We need a capital letter. And we need a full stop.

The man sneezed loudly.

Typically, a sentence will also have a subject.

And a verb.

A sentence should make sense.
