• 250 ‘points’ over 5 years• 1 point approximates to 1 hour of education

• Doctors should undertake a variety of CPD in line with their personal need, discuss at appraisal

• Documentation of CPD kept for appraisal• CPD ‘examined’ at appraisal (not by RCR)• 5 yearly certificate issued by RCR!

Main changes in 2014 edition:
