This meeting seeks to address practical problems in radiation protection applied to diagnostic radiology and to provide some solutions. The main focus will be issues covered by the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017, particularly related to staff and diagnostic X-ray equipment.
Educational aims:• To provide an update on current practice in radiation protection• To highlight potential issues arising from the most recent regulations governing
medical X-ray use
