　　　　 History of Yangming 　　　　 Municipal Junior High School 　　 ◎ YMJH was born in July 1 1988 　　◎ Mr.Fan-Rong-Lee was the first principal of YMJH.He laid a 　　　　　　　 solid foundation for the development of YMJH. 　　◎ In Feb. 1997 Mr. La Shi Chang is the second principal of 　　　　　 YMJH. She made an ambitious wish that YMJH would 　　　　　 become the best junior high school in Kaohsiung. 　　◎ In August 2004, Mr. Jan became the Principal of YMJH.He 　　　　 had been pushed YMJH to another peak.　　

History of Yangming Municipal Junior High School

◎From 2011 to now ， Mrs.Hung-Su-Chi is the principal of YMJH.

◎ There are 108 classrooms, 38 special subject classrooms, and 33 offices for teachers.

◎ There are 3400 people in YMJH.

In our campus ， there are five buildings that look like the Chinese word 日．Buildings in the campus

There are three buildings in our school ， and they 　 mean the truth 、 the good and the beauty. This is the first building of our school .It is 致真樓 .

School Emblem• The school emblem was designed

from the initial letters of “Yang” and “Ming”.

• The design ,combined with a seed and a flowerpot, symbolizes nurture our  new generation of our country.

A thing that is interesting is an old team in Canda: Hartford whalers 1972-1997 ， their Elbem is alike with YM's Elbem.

School Clubs and Activities• In 1997, Penguin Family was set up

and its members have visited our sister school in Japan.

• Besides, many studying seminars are held to promote the reading habits among students.

• Our school also win many citywide awards in many aspects ， like physical exercise 、 music and dancing.

• We also have many activities such as camping 、 school clubs and art competitions.
