Personally

• Very rewarding experience to interact with the teens- all very lovable

• Repeatedly thanked by parents and teens- “made the night special and

memorable”.

• Witnessed what a broad diagnosis Autism really is

• Felt inspired by the dedication and support of the parents of the teens as

well as the ASGO organization

Academic/Professionally

• Gained teacher perspective through interacting with teens

• Conversed and obtained knowledge from parents of teens

• Implemented various strategies for teaching and interacting

with students with autism

• Practiced being flexible with a set schedule
