• In terms of annual rainfall, Taiwan ranks No. 2 in the world.• Mountains directs rainfall directly into the sea.• No oppurtunity to build dams.
• Influence of earthquake occurred in 1999 .
• Taiwanese use an average of 271 liters of water per day.
• Taiwan now suffer from 20%-30% sedimentation.
OVERCOMING TRICKS:
• Increase the price of water .• Irrigation policies must be framed well.• Ask industry to search for its own water.• Increase the waste water recycling rate.• Reduce the tap water leakage.
