The air cleaner element used in this motorcycle isa paper element type. If the element has becomeclogged with dust, intake resistance will increase witha resultant decrease in power output and an increasein fuel consumption due to the richer mixture. Checkand clean the air cleaner element every 4000 km.According to the following procedure.

q Check the brake fluid level in front brake fluidreservoir.If the level in the reservoir is below thelower mark, add DOT4 brake fluid and inspect brakepad worn down grooved limit line q.
q When adjusting the travel of brake pedal/lever, adjustthe free travel to 15-25mm.
w Screwing in or out the front/rear brake adjusting nut q.
