Conclusions

• Trimming down eta range• Systematic uncertainties– Pt shift– Trigger and reconstruction bias– Residual transverse polarization– Non-collision background

Jet ALL with Run9 data vs. xT

• R=0.5 for 2012• |eta| < 0.9• Starting with the 7.1 GeV pT bin

9

Systematic uncertainty – residual transverse polarization

Take (to be confirmed)

from run 6 pp200 to run12 pp510 by assuming xT scaling

for pT < 38 GeV so the residual transverse polarization systematic is

only negligible

10

Left to do

1. Calculate pT shift uncertainties by each trigger and combine them

2. Calculate trigger and reconstruction bias uncertainty by each trigger and

combine them, including the wrong z-vertex dilution

3. Residual transverse polarization is small and we could neglect it

4. Non-collision background yet to be determined

5. Calculate expected ALL with new DSSV and new NNPDF for comparison to

the Run 12 results
