STORYBOARD FOR OUR TEASER TRAILERBy Hannah Thurlow

SHOT 1 In this shot we wish to use Lora, we have

decided to dress her in black and a mask, to create the villan (murderer) in our plot line. We will be using a tripod and camera and moving Laura from one position to the other as shown on screen and then role the images into one to create the images of flashing movements making it feel unnatural and scary.

We wish to shot this down a dark alley with a single lamp post (if possible one that will flash) to give the dark lighting and draw to the character.

Lastly we wish to use the Lord’s Prayer in the sound track over our trailer and the particular line ‘Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’ to create the religious and eerie element.

SHOT 2 Within this shot we wish to film in my

bedroom. We will be filming a girl either myself or

Alana being dragged from their bed and the other girl trying to follow. This will be hand held and either from the Killer’s or the victim's POV depending on which looks better and has a more dramatic effect on the audeince when filmed.

SHOT 3

This scene we wish to do at night where the ‘cult’ religion group are having a meeting around a fire.

We are using some of our friend to be these people and dressing them in a uniformed masks and clothes so they match, having a joint identity. We will be using the bonfire patch in my garden for this scene.

We again will be using some of the Lord’s prayer in this scene. ‘And forgive us of our trespasses for we forgive those who trespass against us.’

SHOT 4

This will be shot at a canted angle. And perhaps also a high angle.

We will use a shot of the piece of paper being thrown across a table, where the words ‘I want to join’ will be written on it.

We will shot this in three shots each one will be the paper at a different angle movng across the paper.

SHOT 5 This will be a shot of Alana crying and

struggling, whilst being dragged through the mud and the leaves, giving the impression of being in a wood.

The audience will not know who is dragging her, as the camera will be focused on her and will be hand held by myself or Laura running after her. Engaging the audience.

SHOT 6

This will be a close up of the leader of the cult group, explaining the tasks in which they will have to embark on to become part of the group.

The background will be black and a single light will focus the audience’s attention to the character, which I feel will look very effective.

SHOT 7 Here we have a mid shot of Laura continuing

to drag Alana through the woods, this time we see she has a knife with her and could potential harm her.

We will see her raise the knife and bring it down before she actually touches Alana, this should increase suspension and create a tense atmosphere within the audience.

SHOT 8

Here will be a blank black screen with the directors (our) names. With the previous films made such as queen Bee (year 12) and Haunting of Therfield (beginning of year 13).

SHOT 9

Here again will be a repeated shot of shot 3, but the scene will be split into two parts and so the footage will not be exactly the same.

In this part we shall have the chanting of the lord’s prayer again with the lines ‘And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.’

SHOT 10

Here will be a blank black screen with the Title.

SHOT 11

This shot I feel will be the most dramatic shot that we will use.

We plan to hang Alana upside down in a tree and film her from a canted angle mid-shot. Where we will film her opening her eyes and then open her mouth to scream. We will then cut the shot.

Alana will have make-up applied to give the impression of blood and bruises and so the audience will be curious as to why she is hurt.

SHOT 12

This will be a closing shot of the release date and then a scream played and so the audience believe that it is Alana screaming.

We believe this will be dramatic and stick in the audience’s mind.
