DESCRIPTION
Visual numbers, the foundation of understanding mathematics, will be our journey as we “see” number patterns, metapatterns (algebra), and derive equations from raw data all through the help of a virtual environment. We will show participants their capacity to recognize shapes within numbers, understand the “code” of numeric symbols, equate patterns with algebraic expressions, derive equations from raw data of real life applications, and have fun in exploration.
