    affectsitseconomybecauseofitscloseproximitytotheU.S.,itsmanyportsandplantationsaswellasthelargetouristindustry.Theexchangerateis12.76Mexicanpesos=1U.S.dollar.In2013theGDP(purchasingpowerparody)oraverageincomeis$15,600.Mexicohasexperiencedalltheeffects,bothgoodandbad,ofalargeandexpandingtourist

    trade.Tourism'snegativeconsequencesinclude,butarenotlimitedtoeconomicdependency,crime,culturalbreakdown.TheseproblemoccurmostlyintouristghettosalongMexico'snorthernborder,ontheMexicanRiviera,andinthecapital.

    Currently,thepresidentofMexicoisEnriquePeaNieto,whowaselectedin2012.AsofNovemberof2014,thebirthratewas19.02/1000,the

    infantmortalityratewas12.58/1000,thelifeexpectancywas75.43years,andthenetmigrationratewas1.64migrant(s)/1,000population.DuetoMexicosproximitytotheborderoftheU.S.andthehighavailabilityofworkinthestates,themajorityofoutmigrationfromMexicooccursbecauseMexicansmovetoplaceslikeCaliforniaandTexas.Californiacurrentlyhouses11,423,000immigrantswithTexasholding7,951,000.ManyMexicansfromrural
