The choice of worktop material and its maintenance is one of the most important aspects of a new laboratory.
Staining is the most common event, but burning and accidental damage may also occur. Choosing the right
worktop material will help to maintain your laboratory’s appearance for much longer. APMG offers a range of solid
grade laminates (e.g. Trespa), hardwood, post-formed laminate, cast epoxy, ceramic and solid surface materials.
Our experienced designers can advise on the most suitable material for your application.
design features
c. APMG’s standard aluminium
handle is tougher than alternatives
and can be epoxy coated to your
colour choice. Other handle
designs are also available.
d. APMG fits 270 degree, semi-
concealed, adjustable hinges which
allow full and open access to the
cupboard.
e. Epoxy powder coated electrical
pedestal boxes may be coloured to
match door handles.
f. A wide range of laboratory sinks
and taps is available, with the option
of drainer grooves machined into
worktops around sinks.
g. Adjustable levelling feet are used
to ensure cupboards and worktops
are level.
h. APMG’s cantilever support frame
is manufactured from 60x40x3mm
Rolled Hollow Section Steel. It is
structually sound and will not deflect,
even under the heaviest of bench
loads. All steelwork is epoxy coated
