What do I mean by community?

Are you already doing it?

A leader in youth clubs, Scouts, Cadets, Brownies or other groups

Activities at church, mosque or temple

Babysitting or collecting brothers and sisters from school

Fundraising with football/cricket/ netball or other sports clubs

Teaching younger children at your dance school

Working with charities e.g. St. John’s Ambulance / charity shops

Helping out your grandparents or elderly neighbours

Caring for family members

Sponsored runs or challenges for charity

Helping younger children with education/school clubs

Safety training: water safety, fire prevention, bicycle safety

Anything else that helps the community

There is a need and you can help – or you might already be helping and would appreciate recognition

Make new friends or do something a bit different with friends

Gives you experience for the future – work experience, college and Saturday jobs
