Unifierasaworkflowdriventoolroutesemailstouserswhoneedtoviewortakeactionondocuments.Thereareseveraloptionsthatcanextendtheusefulnessoftheseemailnotificationsforendusers.Thesefeaturesinclude:

1. AdditionalContent—addingdataelementstoemailbody2. Includingrecordattachments3. Includingacustomprintinsteadofdefaultprint4. ActionButtons—optionstoincludeornot

TheseoptionsarefoundinUnifierundereithertheuDesignerBPdesignorundertheConfigurationBPSetup.ThistippresumesthatyouhavealreadydesignedyourBP,sowewillfocusonlyontheseoptions.ADDINGADDITIONALCONTENTTOEMAILBODYUnifierincludesbasicdataelements(likerecordnumber)inthebaseemail.Ifyouhavecustomdataelementsthattheuserneedstoidentifytheirrequiredactions,youcanaddthesetothedesign.

1. InuDesigner,openyourBPdesigninDraftmode2. Inupperforms,opentheViewFormfortheBP3. ClickonView,EmailNotificationElements4. InthewindowclicktheAdd/Deletebuttonstoaddorremovedataelementsandthenuse

theMoveup/downtochangetheirorder5. ClickApply,andthenOKtosave6. ClickSaveontheViewformscreen7. CompleteandDeployyourBPdesign

2. SelectthesteptomodifyandlookfortheEmailNotificationsblock.3. Hereyoucanconfigurethefollowing:

a. Enableresponseviaemaili. ThiswilladdActionbuttonsintheemailallowingusertojustclickabuttoninthe

email.ii. Youcanhavestepsallowingactionsandotherswheretheymustlogintotakethe

action.

b. IncludingAttachmentsi. Includebothrecordandlineitemattachments—automaticallysendsattachments
