Allows qualified and experienced building professionals and tradesman to be responsible for ensuring compliance with Scottish Building Regulations
Approved Certifier the individual registered under the scheme who determines compliance with Scottish Building Standards
Approved Body the enterprise registered under the scheme who employs and supports the Approved Certifier
Certificate of Construction
issued by an Approved Certifier to confirm that work carried out under a Building Warrant complies with Scottish Building regulations

Financial Incentives for customers
• Generation Tariff – amount varies depending on technology and size• Export Tariff = 3.1p per KWh exported to grid• Energy bill savings from use of electricity generated
Feed In Tariff
3 financial benefits for electricity generation:
FiT applies up to 5MW, but MCS up to 50kW
Renewable Heat Incentive
RHI for non-domestic installs - delayed
• Domestic customers, off gas• 25,000 installs across UK• Apply through Energy Saving Trust • £15m available to March 2012
RH Premium Payments available now
• Installs from July 2009 eligible (with/out RHPP)
RHI for domestic installs – from October 2012
